#23 It's about Time!

Over all my favorites were LibraryThing and Youtube. What I feel needs to be improved on is the way it was given to us. Some instructions were very hard to understand. Didn't really know what direction to go. Some only read the info others did all that was required. Too short of time..Maybe in a class with people doing the same thing at the same time so we can help each other. No competition. More as a class

#22-overdrive-net library

I tried a few titles and my titles were not found. Seems like you always have to sign in or register. How many accounts do you need? New titles may not be available.

#21-Podcasting-tools-and how to

I really didn't think that the video made any sense. To me it had nothing to do with what ipoding really is. After, I went to the other sights, I realize just what it is and how to go about being a podcaster. Itunes was okay to. Yahoopodcast sight was easier for me to understand, and told how to.

Week 9-#20-Podcast-Video--downloadable audio

Now this one I really liked. Went to yahoo videos/google videos. I think out of all of them that I viewed, Youtub was the one I would choose to upload videos, and search for old motown videos. This one was okay..

week 8-#18 on-line application/toos/spreadsheets etd...

I looked at the examples of each and noticed how similiar they were, zoho writer, and google docs. Google looks easier to read. Both were about the same. Zoho writer, I couldn't even make an account with them.

#17 Library 2.0 in 15 minutes "wiki"

viewed all liked best 2.0 in 15 minutes. That would of been nice to have seen all of that at the very beginning. Also like bookloverswiki.

#15 Future of Libraries--Web 2.0

This all seems to be taking place at this very moment, however, this only means to me that everyone will be able to get information much faster by clicking-tagging, blogging typing, and etc.....I guess this is fine, but I would at least like to see a real person at some time. Talking to real people and seeing real faces.

#14 Tags and Blogs/Technorati

I don't really think that I would be interested in even having more than 1 blog posted. It seems to me, it takes up a lot of time.

Rollyo-lesson # 12

This is a nice way to quickly go and find topics and info, but I still can't understand exactly how to add searchroll to a link. Don't know, as before directions didn't tell me next step....

Week 5-on line generator/

I had a little bit of fun with this one, however when it came time for me to make my avator, that was fun, but to post it on my blog, I couldn't find directions to do so, so I asked a co-worker for help. If this is self learning, maybe more directions should be given as to what the next step is.

Blogline-search tools/Exercise #9 -Discovery Exercise

I guess if i would have to use them i would use topix.net only because of keywords or word phrases. Technorati tutorial very hard for me to understand. Did see what was being talked about and what you can actually do after you sign up for an account.

week 4

This took a very long time for me to do. I did not know what was being asked of me. My screen looked different than the screen shots in session. Very confusing. I will use this on my job if necessary, but not for me at home.

Technology

Some things that I am now using that I don't mind learning about is the cell phone. I only use it for emergencies. Now I have my other family members cell numbers in my address book so that I can just call if needed. Something new I just learned.

Using the camera on my cell phone is also something new I have been learning.

week 1 71/2 habbits

Habit 6: using technology is hardest for me being that I really am not a technical person.
Habit 2: accepting responsiblity for your own learning is easiest because I' m trying even though
I don't want to.
